Stonehaven is a typical Scottish town, so no one knows what the weather will be like on the night. Generally at this time of the year it is very cold, and a cold wind will blow down the High street, so wear your old non politically correct fur coat or your most colorful 80's ski jacket, it will be too dark to see them anyway!

Also a word of advice, never wear your best clothes to the fireballs as there will be sparks flying along with smoke and even Whisky!

Don't be surprised if you end up with little burn holes in your clothes, this is normal, try swinging the things!

It's always worth wearing some party clothes under your old ones as there is always the big party at the square and many others afterwards.
