Stonehaven is a typical Scottish town, so no one knows what the weather will be like on the night. Generally at this time of the year it is very cold, and a cold wind will blow down the High street, so wear your old non politically correct fur coat or your most colorful 80's ski jacket, it will be too dark to see them anyway!

Also a word of advice, never wear your best clothes to the fireballs as there may be sparks flying along with a little smoke!

Don't be surprised if you end up with little burn holes in your clothes, this is normal, try swinging the things!

It's always worth wearing your 'glad-rags' under your old clothes as afterwards there is always the chance of a party somewhere!
